About Heidorn Consulting

Heidorn Consulting is an actuarial and systems consulting firm located in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. We service a variety of clients located primarily in Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Our client base primarily consists of fraternal benefit societies, but also includes commercial insurance companies.

Heidorn Consulting is an independent actuarial and systems consulting firm that was formed in late 1996 under the name SSCG. Its current staff members have over 35 years' experience in the actuarial and PC systems development business. This experience is heavily concentrated in service to the fraternal benefit system. However, unlike some other similarly situated consulting firms, Heidorn Consulting staff members also have experience in the commercial insurance marketplace. Thus, Heidorn Consulting is competently poised to address the actuarial, PC-based systems, management and marketing consulting needs of Fraternal Benefit Societies and commercial insurance companies.

Heidorn Consulting currently provides valuation actuary services (including cash flow testing), illustration actuary services, and life and annuity product development and filing services to many Societies. In addition, Heidorn Consulting designs and writes insurance-related software for PC applications. Examples include IlluStar™, its "mod-reg" compliant life and annuity sales illustration software, and Admin™, its life and annuity home office administration software for the small-to-mid-sized organization. Heidorn Consulting specializes in customizing software applications for the user and can also provide assistance in PC network design and installations.
